Week2
First lecture, introducing experiential design. Having group discussion to explain about our exercise. Briefing on final project, also viewed some examples project videos.

Week3
Lecturer 2, learn how to differentiate AR (Augmented Reality), VR (Virtual Reality), and MR (mixed reality). Installation of Unity and visual studio on machine. Student pass account set-up for Unity, and Vuforia engine.
Week4
Creating Unity project for image target. Importing Vuforia engine features and target license. Made a program of showing AR cube object based on the targeted image. Setting device layout on landscape controller.
Week5
Changing background colour on main camera and adding text-mesh pro as credit text on the screen. Importing buttons and background image to unity assets files and learn how create assets image (sprite) by using Canva. Scripting for buttons to make availability in linking different pages (scene).
Week6
Installing PolyCam on device to scan objects into 3D modelling (.obj file) and import it into the builded scene in Unity. Scanned object will appears as an AR 3d model on the image target.
Week7
Online class, add AR video player to targeted image. Playing with different video player function such as auto play/ pause video while targeting image. Learn how to make animated UI target by Canva to appears while leaving the image target. Showing AR objects/ Videos on mesh plane. Submission for AR project proposal.

Week8
Independent learning week.
Week9
Playing with Vuforia engine features: Ground plane and mid air target. It is possible to bring AR closer to the environment, displaying AR objects and effects on the ground or in the air. AR prototype video submission.

Week10-14
Prototyping final project.
1. Building menu (homepage) scene with a start button to link the AR scanner page (AR scene). The menu background is an image created by Canva.

2. Capturing road sign image to creating image target in Vuforia engine. Image target background are removed and cropped to suitable size.

3. AR Scene- Creating translated road sign (keeping the original design of the road sign) using Canva. Scale the image target and canva image size into the same to ensure the AR effects covered the sign board nicely.
