2)strategy- develop to navigate through difficult situations

3)chance- prolong the life of the player (additional game life/ time increases/ special weapon)

4)choice- [most common in RPG game] giving players dialog (interact with NPC) choice.

Public holiday (Hari Raya)

Week 4:

Finally Unity!!!

briefing in Unity workplace

Insert object to the workplace

Check the object position in X,Y, and Z axis

Object position can be reset under the menu of inspector. Object can be inserted as game elements such as character, ground. For the character we can apply a component to it to make it falls by gravity.

The 'gravity' on character

The 'gravity' on the ground

After applying those components to the objects, we can make a simple seesaw game upon the physical theory. To make the red ball shoot, we have to change the mass of the object as well.

Next, we build a new scene to apply some script. In this tutorial, we learnt how to control our game character to move up, down, left, right with our keyboard.

script to move
The public float declaration in the scripts make us easier to adjust our data of our character movement.

Another script component we learn is to code a ground trigger to detect either the object on the ground or not. Empty object is created and inspector tag are added.
