Project 2: Audio Storytelling
For this project, we must choose to use a well-known fairy tale or creating our own storybook. Subsequently, we will proceed to record the narrative and voice acting for the chosen story. The recorded content will later undergo refinement in Adobe Audition to enhance its clarity and overall quality, including the incorporation of appropriate sound effects and music. Following this, the final audio output should be synchronized with either screenshots of storybook pages or images sourced from a film, TV show, or illustrations. The video's duration should not exceed 3 minutes, and the narration and voice acting can be performed by a friend. The preferred method for voice recording is using a mobile device.
Selected Story:
I've selected the story titled 'The Pied Piper... and Butterflies.' I came across this tale on the 'Storyberries' website, where I also found a storybook image that can be directly utilized for the video editing process.
5 MIN STORIES AGE 7-12 ALL ALL FAIRY TALES
The Pied Piper… and BUTTERFLIES!
The people of Hamelin are happy. Until one day, a horde of multicoloured butterflies descend upon the town.
I narrated the selected screenplay for 36 audio clips in total. However, I discovered that recording the entire tale would cause my audio to exceed three minutes, so I chose to stop in the middle and add a to be continue scene in the end of my video.
